Allison Fuller

    Founding partner of VPMR LLC, where she serves as President, Client Management.
  • Allison has over 15 years of market research industry experience. She spent the last 10 years at Verispan and its founder companies in a range of roles (Group Director, Director of Qualitative Research, Senior Moderator, Analyst) designing and managing qualitative and quantitative market research to drive global brand development and optimize product performance for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Allison has been instrumental in supporting numerous drug launches, starting much of her work during the initial phases of clinical development. Her most recent work has been in the areas of ADHD, rheumatoid arthritis, pain management, respiratory depression, oncology, HIV, and gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Earlier in her career, she spent 6 years managing a team of qualitative professionals. She also moderated hundreds of focus groups and IDIs with a diverse range of healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, hospital administrators and pharmacists, Managed Care Executives and Formulary Decision Makers) and patients. During her years as a moderator, Allison gained expertise in a wide range of therapeutic categories as well as first-hand knowledge of the driving forces and influences behind the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets.

Karen Patterson

    Founding partner of VPMR and President, Research Operations.
  • Karen has 29 years of experience as a marketing research consultant and internal strategic planner for a major pharmaceutical company. Her career has included fifteen years experience directing the quantitative research function at four pharmaceutical market research firms, with particular emphasis on resource allocation modeling, pre- and post-clinical trial preference share models and product launch forecasting models. Karen also spent several years as senior consultant in a firm that developed corporate image and brand equity models for many Fortune 500 companies.
  • Karen was formerly a Professor of Marketing at Drexel University for many years, holding several academic positions. She was also a frequent guest lecturer at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and more recently, St. Josephs University in the Pharmaceutical Marketing program. She has co-authored an article with Dr. Paul Green of Wharton on research methodologies focusing on alternative mapping procedures. Karen has her MBA from Drexel University and has audited Ph.D. level courses at Wharton, mostly in the area of advanced statistical methods.

Yvonne Hunley Jones

    Founding partner of VPMR and President, Strategic Marketing.
  • Yvonne brings to VPMR more than twenty (20) years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical and consumer/patient research. She is a broad-based marketing research professional with extensive primary research experience, demonstrating high-quality project management capabilities.
  • Yvonne has worked extensively in conducting primary research both domestically and globally with brand teams from some of the top pharmaceutical companies in many therapeutic areas, including Alzheimers, ADHD, CKD, CNS, ultrasound and diagnostic imaging systems, GI, pain management, ophthalmology, womens health, and cardiology.
  • In her career, she has developed proficiency in a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. She also has solid experience in new product launches, market assessment for pipeline products, message development, brand/product positioning, line extensions, and many types of research that involve preparing a product for market prior to FDA approval.
  • Leadership roles prior to Verispan include Vice President positions at Genactis and Harris Interactive where she was also a Pharmaceutical Practice Leader for the Harris Health Care Group. She designed and executed custom research studies that would enable healthcare companies to make better short and long-term business decisions. Prior to Harris Interactive, Yvonne was Vice President of Client Service for Greenfield Online, an Internet-based market research company. There she leveraged Internet capabilities to create custom marketing research to effectively support business decision processes and help clients to define additional opportunities that would facilitate an increase in their revenue. Earlier, Yvonne spent 10 years at MRCA Information Services, where she specialized in custom consumer/patient diary panels within the health care arena. She also practiced psychology for 5 years at Laurel House, a treatment facility for the psychologically impaired.
  • Yvonne obtained her MA in Clinical Psychology from the American University, Washington DC and holds a BA in Psychology, from the University of Delaware.
